Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is filled with students that often come to school for a safe haven and a place to feel loved and safe. No child should come to school worried they don't have the basic necessities for the day.

Funding my project will help my fifth graders have the basic things they need (bean bag chairs, Frito Lay chips, an electric pencil sharpener, etc.) and the ability to have a "chill out reading area".

My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are given a choice of where to work. Please help!
