My Project

My third graders are learning how to earn, spend, and save money. I would love to implement a classroom economy system where they have opportunities to earn "classroom cash" by being responsible students and doing work. They can save their money and spend their money on items in the classroom store, chances with a claw machine, or in our huge classroom auction. I will need colored paper and laminating pouches to create our classroom cash, and toys, bookmarks, and items for students to work towards buying with their classroom cash.

This exciting experience will surely motivate the students to learn more about financial literacy and become financially responsible!
