Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are gaining true enjoyment from the books they find in our classroom library. I want to include more books with characters that better represent who my students are and to include some classics I don't have yet!

These additions will help my students get access to new titles at the end of the year and will be ready for my new students next year to enjoy!

When my students find books they are interested in and books with characters similar to them, they are much more invested in their reading. I have loved watching them become better readers this year and I am excited to watch them grow even more!
