My Students

My students persevered through the Spring school closure and they have earned a fun summer off. Looking forward, it seems increasingly likely that the Fall will include at least some, if not all, distance learning once again.

I provide my students with multiple options for distance learning, recognizing that many of them have limited access to technology.

In addition to utilizing many online resources, my students receive personalized packets and materials that they can work on at home when school buildings are closed.

My Project

Baltimore City just announced that the school year will start all virtual. That means that to have the fullest possible distance learning experience, students will need a device than can access all the different resources I plan to offer in my virtual classroom.

Without these tablets, students will be unable to access their education during the distance learning period.

I plan to give these tablets to two students who did not have devices in the Spring and thus missed the majority of their virtual learning program. With the tablets, they will be able to join our Google Classroom, access Freckle (the virtual platform I will use to assign work in math and ELA), and video chat with me for live instruction.
