My Project

My students are curious, and energetic and come from diverse backgrounds. As a community, we are learning about ourselves and others through read-alouds this year. Several of our students come from diverse homes and family structures.

We need books about diverse families and communities to learn more about our families and to understand and show empathy for people who are different from us.

With your donation, we will be able to achieve this goal in our classroom as well as our entire school. These books will live in our school teacher library so other students can have access through classroom read-alouds.
