My Project

My students love being read to each day. They all want to scoot in close and look at the pictures. These books will allow all students to engage in a fun way with the story. Students will also be able to lay on the carpet and look at the big books themselves or with a classmate!

These big books would allow all students to feel close to the story.

Research shows when a teacher reads a big book it has the same effect on a child as when they sit on their parents lap for a story.
