My Students

We have an OT (Occupational Therapy) classroom where we may use some cushions, but most of our cushions are issued to children with attention issues in class or children with excess energy that just aren't able to stay seated. Lava lamps would be calming in both of our therapy rooms-kindergarten and higher grades.

My school is Prek to 12 school.

We treat all of our children like family here. All teachers know all students' names and the students know all the teachers. We service all children that require OT services to help ensure success and promote independence in their academic careers.

My Project

Students will use wobbles cushions to stay seated even though they may have a lot of energy. These student often get in trouble for moving too much and touching their friends. Lava lamps are for calming needs. We can use one in each of our therapy rooms.

These materials cost a lot of money when you are issuing one to each student and the costs start to add up.

The students can maintain their attention better in class with wobble cushions. They are allowed to move, yet they are still seated. The lava lamps will provide a calming corner in OT.
