My Students

My students range in age from 6 to 7 years old, with a variety of ability levels and learning styles. Our learners come from a wide range of ethnic and cultural backgrounds and experiences. Having a safe, fun, and comfortable place to come and learn is a top priority for me as their teacher. Each and every day, my students enter the classroom ready to learn with big smiles on their faces. They are motivated to make each and every day a great day for themselves.

My Project

These Osmo Genius kits will enhance our iPad station because they will allow my students to take a more STEM approach. While they are working on reading and writing these games will help them put those into action. They will be able to use the word game in order to get more practice building words and getting direct feedback. The number game will help them become more confident in their number sense and put their knowledge in action with real-life math problems. The tangram game will help them become more confident with their shapes and how to manipulate them to create other things. These kits will really improve our iPad time.
