My Students

Students learn best when they are allowed to move and manipulate. That is especially true in our K/1 combination class! Osmo not only reinforces our academics, it teaches us vital technology skills that are important for students to be successful in today's digital world.

I have an adorable and energetic group of kindergarteners and First Graders with a love for learning.

Their empathy and caring for each other is incredible. They are always excited to try new things, and they are supportive of each other's successes. Our school will be moving into a new building and a new world of E-STEM next year. We are all very excited!

My Project

My students will use the Osmo systems with the iPad's we already have received from many amazing Donors. We will reinforce our academics while learning new technology skills using the latest in learning technology. Some of my students do not have any access to technology at home. Others see technology as a play toy, not for learning, but as a way to be entertained. Osmo allows them all to not only learn with technology, but to see technology as a tool for learning and interacting with, not just stare at. They will not only reinforce their literacy, art, and math skills they will get to develop engineering skills.

Students learn best when they can move and manipulate their learning.

Osmo will allow my class this necessary movement while teaching them engineering and technology skills. My students will experience for themselves how creative they can be using technology in a new way.
