My Students

My students live in lower socioeconomic neighborhoods that require support and resources for learning. A challenge my students face is providing their own supplies for the classroom.

By providing supplies, we are empowering students to be able to learn, and feel confident they have what they need for school.

A large percentage of our students live in multi-family member homes, foster homes, other family members and friends' homes, and hotels/motels. These students and families may not have the financial freedoms to provide extra resources above and beyond what is in the school already. By helping provide resources for the students, you are allowing the students to be successful in the class.

My Project

These supplies will be used for teachers and students during this time of remote learning. The supplies will help the students stay organized while working at home.

By giving the students and teachers pens, post-it notes, and file folders, they will be able to create a space to learn while at home.

They will have file folders for each subject area and keep the tasks and activities organized. The pens and post-it notes help ensure they have supplies to keep up the learning while away from school.
