This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help us organize our musical theater supplies. We have many plays printed and do not have a way to store these items. The wire step folder system would easily help us organize all of our plays. Students will be self-sufficient and know where their materials are. There are student leaders who will pass out the materials and they will be able to find everything easily. Having students pass out materials helps us get down to learning faster. They take pride in helping pass out items and materials. I am also asking for clips to hold together large packets of paper that we use for plays and readers theater.

I am also asking for 3 folding tables for our class shows.

We frequently perform for kindergarten and we need these tables to hold props and costume items to help our show run smoothly. We make our own props and need to be able to set them down in scenes when we are not using them. The size of these tables is perfect and they are easy to clean down if needed. They can also be stored easily in my classroom without taking up too much space.

These tools would help us store items effectively and prevent items from getting lost. The black clips help secure large plays that we are working on. I am teaching my students organizational skills, leadership skills and how to be self-sufficient. These are skills that students can use in school and in the workplace later in life. I believe if students have organizational skills, they can achieve their school goals and work goals more effectively. Lots of students do not learn these skills from home, so it is really important to teach these skills at the same time as curriculum in the classroom.
