Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are the future. I teach 9th-12th graders and they are working on groundbreaking materials.

We are at a project-based learning school and my students are engaged in their learning which can't be said at all schools.

Students create projects using all of their content knowledge and display their creations to the community.

My Project

My project is about organizing my classroom material for my students to have a space to know where to go.

I teach at a school where spaces are shared and it would be great to have a resource(3- tiered cart) to have all my materials in one space and students know that they can go there to get anything they need for math class.

Having to hop between spaces can get a little hectic and I would love organizing materials for my students to always know where to look no matter what space we are in. The 3 - tiered cart will give me a space to roll around pencils, erasers, class notes, etc. The accordian filing system will help me have a space where students can go to get notes for the day or any notes they have missed while out. The galvanized buckets will help organize all math materials used like pencils that are sharpened and not sharpened, erasers, highlighters, scissors, etc. The kind bars will be for students who cannot afford to bring snacks to school or miss breakfast so they can have the brain power to get through the day!
