My Project

My choir room is always filled with music, but we’re in need of annual resources to help students stay focused and organized. Without student desks, it’s challenging for students to manage their music, pencils, and papers. Your donation will significantly improve the learning environment by providing the tools and resources necessary for better organization. It will also instill the importance of organization, a necessary life skill as they prepare for college and beyond. The chair pockets will be a great place for students to keep their music, pencils, and note cards at their seats. The "Pen Pal" pen holders are great adhesives for stowing their pencil right on their music binder, thus freeing their hand to turn pages and hold their music. The large note cards will be used to Social Emotional Learning and Team Building activities. Moreover, to further student understanding of culture, compassion, and collaboration, the music scores and activity books listed in this project encircles cultural responsive teaching as well as collaborative skills, competencies that are sought after in college and their careers. Please help me make my choir room a place of healthy singing, learning, and equity for all.
