When you have an organized space, there is naturally a higher capability for success, focus, and determination. Through these items, I will create a more organized space for my students and myself, as adults benefit from this too! I already have big plans for all of these items and have been planning their use in our classroom. The storage cart will be used for all things paper-related. With many different drawers of various sizes, I can organize papers ready to copy, grade, file, send back to students, and more. Additionally, with the storage crates, I will be able to put together individualized learning stations for my students with bins for missed work, fast finishers, and supplementary resources. Further items on my list include a plethora of pencils to combat the never-ending need for them. Caddies will be placed in the center of table groups for easy access to supplies, and my lamp will be used for classroom management strategies.
These donations will succeed in helping me meet my goals of an organized space for my students and setting an example of organizational strategies.
My students are about to enter middle school, which is a time of huge transition. I truly believe that if I set them up with organizational strategies now, they will be able to apply them in their future schooling.
