Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach Algebra I to high school freshmen and sophomores. Most of my students always struggle with finding their homework, or even yesterday's classwork. These binders will help teach my students how to keep their notes/assignments organized so that they can be used for studying (also a skill we will be working on!). Many of my students last year placed emphasis and importance on their work because they had the opportunity to keep their work together and organized. I'm hoping that this trend continues this year.

I always tell my students that the key to success in math is to be organized!

This project will allow me to give them an opportunity to begin the year on the path for success.
