My Project

As a math teacher in a South Brooklyn school, some of my students have more resources at home than others. As a eighth-year teacher, I think it is imperative that my students all get equal opportunities to do well on their assignments. Despite the many challenges some of my students might face, I am looking to keep things interactive and simple. I want to provide my students with the resources they need to succeed in my class and in life. Keeping a neat and organized classroom by having a utility cart will help keep our worksheets organized. Getting colored paper will help us create our class projects. We need folders to keep ourselves organized. Having the colored highlighters can help us with our lesson on combining like terms where we use colors to help us differentiate the terms. I want to have my students feel like they are in a safe space where they can learn.
