Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

During the school day I have many groups sitting at my small group table. The morning starts with a reading intervention group, then Multiple math intervention groups after whole groups, and then I end the day with After school reading tutoring. All these materials take up space. Leveled readers for the morning groups, math manipulatives during the day, and then sight word and syllable cards after school leave my table a mess.

Having a rolling chart will help me keep my intervention and math materials organized and available when needed for small group instruction.

Even though they are called small groups they can sometime be as large as 8 to 10, the cart having flat top will allow me to put the portable whiteboard on top and sit further away from the table to allow more students to sit comfortably without me having to squeeze in. The headphones will allow the students not working with me a pair to use with their programs, the laminated dots will allow students to work directly on the table and show me their work in math.
