My Students

I have 27 vibrant kindergarten students that truly love to come to school. My class has a very diverse set of needs with 1/2 of the students speaking English as a second language . Each day is a new adventure in the world of learning. My students come to school to be fed, feel loved and find their place in this world on top of learning how to be a citizen in today’s world. They enjoy the safety of the community we have built.

My Project

LMAPES had a very busy summer!

Over the summer break the school was remodeled and our new classroom is amazing and ready for students to do their personal best each and every day!

The classroom was updated with a new cubby space for students to put their materials. I am asking for plastic containers for my students to put in their cubby to keep their reading materials organized and ready for use! Each student will get a plastic container to use as a book box. This is where they will store any books for their guided reading group and books that are at their reading level. By having books at their level and accessible will make independent reading organized and fun for all the students in my classroom!
