Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students were once identified by a previous administrator as "dying on the vine." Their particular demographic automatically places them within "at-risk" categories. But what people do not see that faculty and staff at my school see every day, is the hard work and dedication that my students possess. They possess perseverance to continue on when time after time they are doubted! They possess good hearts that care deeply about not only their academics but arts, classmates, music, sports as well!

My Project

I meet with my small groups several times a week to focus learning and implement strategic interventions. This time is very important, but not very long, so the need to be as organized as possible is a must. This mobile cart will be used to help me do just that. The cart is mobile, which means I can keep the cart stationary at my Teacher table, or move it to any location in my classroom. I can use color coordinated bins to house weekly interventions and materials. With this mobile cart and storage bins, I know longer waste valuable moments locating much needed instructional tools. This will enhance and extend my attention to my students and ultimately raise their academic achievements!
