My Project

Seat Sacks for Success!

I teach a vibrant group of second grade special education inclusion students in a Title I school where every day is filled with curiosity, growth, and determination.

My students work hard to overcome academic challenges, and I strive to create a learning environment that supports their unique needs.

The Problem We’re Solving:

Organization can be a big challenge in our classroom. With limited space and high needs, my students often struggle to keep track of materials like books, notebooks, and supplies. Searching for lost materials takes valuable learning time and disrupts their focus and confidence.

Why Seat Sacks?

Seat sacks will give each student their own personal space to keep materials neatly organized and easily accessible. With everything at their fingertips, they can focus on learning rather than worrying about where their supplies are. These simple tools will:

-Foster independence and confidence in keeping their own space tidy.

-Reduce distractions and transition times.

-Maximize our small classroom space efficiently.

The Impact:

With seat sacks, my students will have a calmer, more organized environment where they can focus on developing essential skills in reading, writing, and math. For my special education learners, this sense of structure and ownership over their space is a game-changer for building independence and learning success.
