Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school has students who are eager to learn about different sports. They come from a community with not many resources for physical activity. We have students from low-income households, students with special education services and English Language Learners.

In being a first year PE teacher I would will love to give back to the kids and encourage a team sports program!

Making a physical activity a life style while having fun.

My Project

These materials will help keep the students on task and be able to take resources home. It will help brighten the gym and be organized like there homeroom classroom, with colorful reinforcement throughout the gym.

Using colorful positive reinforcements to influence the students to do better and stay engaged.

Using reward stickers, colorful paper for exit slips, and Velcro to demonstrate student work throughout the gym. Motivating kids to take home worksheets of exercise that can be completed at home. Having students from low income family, I would love to promote physical activity as a lifestyle.
