Help me give my students a way to organize their lunch pails and tools to have organized, educational fun. Having accessible storage space and games that put the FUN in fundamental would be a dream come true!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
First grade is a special time because it is where students become more independent. They will be readers, writers, collaborators, thinkers, and builders. It is amazing to see the amount of growth that students will demonstrate from the beginning of year to the end! I look forward to guiding my students throughout this school year.
My students come into class every day with big smiles, bright eyes, and minds that are eager to learn.
They love engaging in our daily routines, and are always willing to take part in new learning opportunities. Together we can partner in providing excellent learning tools to the fabulous world of first grade!
My Project
Right now, your children pile their lunch boxes into my bin, and they dig through it to get to theirs when needed at different points in the day. Water bottles spill, crumbs get left behind, and students are frustrated when their pail is at the bottom. I would love to have a shelf that can be easily wiped down and that makes everyone's lunch pail accessible to them when they need it! But that is not the sole purpose of this DonorsChoose.org project.
There are many first grade friendly games that promote cooperation and unity.
I would love to have scarves and stringy balls for collaborative PE games that encourage teamwork, and Ticket to Ride: First Journey - an exciting board game to introduce your children to our U.S. map and some of the major cities across America.
