My Project

Every student learns differently so it is unfair to expect all students to learn best while sitting in the classic desk and chair. The requested resources will allow students to sit in other locations of the classroom, giving them the choice to decide where they will be able to be their best self while focusing on their English work in the classroom.

Middle students are still kids at heart, kids who love to lay on the floor while working or reading.

Items such as rugs and floor cushions will allow the students to move around the classroom and not have to sit on the cold, tile floor.

My goal is with the variety of seats requested and other organizational items, the students will be able to easily find the things they need in an organized classroom, which will bring a sense of calmness to them. The students will know exactly where everyday supplies are, resulting in them not having to ask the teacher. Creating a sense of independence in the students will also free me up as the teacher so I can spend more time helping students instead of digging out supplies.
