This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love the floor desk that we were able to get on Donorschoose. It helps the students focus, create small groups or work independently! Epically during writing. It also helps students move their body when they cannot sit still. While the desk has helped with academics and behavior, the children need help organizing the desk. Much of class time is taken from the student setting up, moving and cleaning up the desk in a checked area in the room. This stand would give the children a clear area for the desk. It will also encourage them to help keep our classroom clean!
