Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I absolutely love our students for their curiosity, resilience, and very unique ways of thinking. They bring enthusiasm and creativity to the classroom every day, and I want to give them and their teacher the tools they need to get organized, engaged, and confident in their learning. Our students, many of whom have special abilities, thrive with structure, visual supports, and hands-on materials that help them process and retain information in ways that work best for them.

The folders, sheet protectors, and storage bins will create a structured, accessible system for organizing their daily learning materials, ensuring that important resources are always at their fingertips.

Pre-sharpened pencils will remove a simple but common barrier to participation, making sure every student is ready to engage without frustration. The fun vinyl stickers will allow students to personalize their folders, adding a sense of ownership and motivation to stay engaged.

My goal with this project is to remove unnecessary obstacles that can make learning more challenging for students, allowing them to focus on building skills, growing their confidence, and enjoying the learning process. These resources will help foster independence, organization, routines and creativity—giving our students the tools they need to thrive!
