What makes our students so special? They have two amazing and loving teachers! We are an inner-city public school that is striving to meet the needs of each student. All of our students come to us with varied abilities as well as needs.
We believe that every student is capable of learning and deserves the tools to make them successful.
We are an integrated co-taught classroom. This means we have a mix of general education students as well as students with special needs. My co-teacher Mr. Passalugo and I want to provide our students with the best learning space possible as well as the tools the students need to be successful.
The age-old question, where have all the pencils gone? In a classroom, that is the question that is asked every day. Some other questions include; where is my book? What happened to my math notes? All of these materials are needed on a daily basis. We are looking to get some organizational drawers to help our students transition from individual desks to teamwork tables.
At this age, learning organizational tips is crucial.
Each group will get a shelving unit for their table to help them stay organized. By starting them while they are young, we can instill these skills for them to transition into higher grades.
