My Students

I teach in an ICT classroom integrated co teaching room with some students with special needs. Our students come from low income and from military families. All of my students come to school energetic and ready to learn every day! My students in early childhood need an organized classroom to move around independently. With clearly labeled bins and directions students can choose their activities and get the supplies they need independently. Special education students especially need clear organization to have the day go smoothly.

My Project

We have a small classroom and it is hard for students to walk around and get what they need independently. By adding some of these supplies, the students will be able to have more choice and more freedom around the classroom. Our district wants teachers to take a step back and give the students more choices and more independence. This would give students a more organized and easy way to choose what they want or need. Especially with special education students, they need things clearly labeled and in sights. Students and teachers in the room would greatly appreciate these items.
