My Students

My students are spirited learners who are eager to learn as much as they can about music! We are a diverse school with students from many different backgrounds who are all learning how to collaborate by making music together.

I strive to make sure that my students get an enriching and individualized experience in my general music class.

My students already love to sing and perform on instruments. Now, they need to learn essential aspects of music literacy such as how to read music notation and how to create and compose written music.

My Project

Having easy access to writing materials will help my students to be successful as they learn the basics of music literacy. They need to be able to write and notate music independently and these organizational skills will allow them to do that. My students will use the clipboards and supply caddies whenever they need to do written work such as composing music and decoding music notation.

In the music room, working with so many students means that I need to keep my room as organized as possible.

Other essential organizational tools, such as these supply bins, paper trays, and hanging file organizers will give me the ability to organize and store their work after they have completed it.
