My Project

My class is made up of 25 gifted and talented learners with diverse needs and learning styles! Supporting my gifted and talented learners involves specific planning and many opportunities for enrichment and challenges. My students are very creative and absolutely love engaging and hands on activities. They are eager to accept challenges where they have to collaborate and problem solve to reach a solution.

My goals for this project is to create an organized classroom environment where things are easy to find for my students such as center activities and learning tools needed throughout our day.

The organizational bins/carts will be a great addition for our centers. This will make it easier for students to keep center activities organized during clean up time. The light switch and finger focus tools will be a great addition to our guided reading time. The finger focus helpers will support my struggling readers stay focused and engaged while following along during reading time together. The smiley light switch will be great for my other students who will be working in centers to know that when my light is on there should be no interruptions to my guided reading group unless it is necessary. My students will benefit from some new treasure chest prizes as positive reinforcement throughout the day.
