This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My 2nd grade students rock! I teach to two second grade classrooms at a Title I school, where over 95% of our students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. In spite of the hardships and challenges my students may face, they arrive at my classroom every day with a smile on their face and ready to learn.

Our school serves students from a low income and high poverty area. My students deal with challenges in the classroom and at home. When a child walks into my classroom, I want them to feel special and forget any hardships they may be going through.

My Project

My students love to be my helpers! This coming school year, I want to make my classroom feasible so my students can help with filing,and organizing. Students need to learn good organization skills at a young age to be successful.

Having a better organization system will help my students to become more organized in their schoolwork, which leads to a more productive and a more successful school year.

My students will be using files and folders to sort and organize all their assessments, classwork, and homework. The ink will be used to print new labels for all their folders.
