Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students from the Bronx, NY are part of a program that creates connections between literacy, Maker spaces and Computer science. We give children from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and low-incomes an opportunity to learn and thrive within a Maker space that will stimulate interest in computer science. My energetic Makers enter the classroom ready to learn, discover, and make. By having these tools my students will have access to an experience of making and learning about computer science in a low-risk setting that otherwise would not be possible.

My Project

These folders will enhance the print-rich resources that I strive to create. My classroom is a place that my students really enjoy working independently! Every student folder that has a place in our bookshelf that is treated with care. Students will be able to stay organized, which will help them continue to enjoy independent research time. ...because "We C.A.R.E. at BETA"
