Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are very busy all day long. They are eager to learn. I want to teach them that organization is very important to be successful in school. I believe that teaching them at an early age, that everything has its place, makes them accountable for their materials.

My students come diverse backgrounds.

My school is a dual immersion school where students are learning Spanish. Along with the language, students learn about different cultures and develop a rich cultural experience. The goal of our Immersion program is for students to become bilingual and bilateral in English and Spanish.

My Project

Teaching my students at an early age that everything has its place makes them accountable for their materials. They will use the listening center cubbies to keep all the books and CDs organized. The carpet will be used, along with the listening center, so students have a place to sit and listen to the stories. The bins will keep the books organized. The mailboxes will keep all their work organized.

This project will improve my classroom because students will have a way to organize materials and their work.

This will make their lives better because I believe they are learning an important life skill and it will be an efficient way to get materials and student work organized.
