Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a special day class with 15 Kinder-2nd graders. I have students with a wide range of disabilities and they are kinesthetic learners. They are kinesthetic learners and benefit from organization to facilitate learning and stay engaged and motivated to learn.

We are working hard to teach executive functioning skills, such as organization.

This classroom organizer will help organizer the class and have students become independent when filing their work and move through our centers.

We use many materials during phonics, math, science and STEM centers because and organization will help make our centers flow. They will be more engaged and get the practice they need to develop those skills.

If we can get the organization supplies, we can add more effective tools and materials to our phonics centers, math centers, STEM activities and art. This will also help them work collaboratively and build language in centers.
