My Students

My students learn how to articulate their thinking in all subjects as well as develop skills needed to become successful members of society. Organization is key and my students understand that like our work, our classroom must be maintained in a certain way for us to be productive and creative.

My students are becoming more and more autonomous every single day!

Our school has wheeled out S.O.A.R. (Safety, Ownership, Achievement, Respect) as our motto. My students are striving towards this school wide goal of SOARING inside and outside of the classroom. In our classroom, students are held accountable for keeping their learning environment tidy and safe. This means my students are in charge of organizing their belongings and class resources such as the class library books, school supplies, and portfolios.

My Project

With these requested materials, my students can continue on their paths to becoming successful members of society! These materials will help our class maintain a positive and organized classroom environment. Thanks to our gracious donors from our last Donors Choose Project, we have many new books in our library! Many of our books are still in need of a book bin to call their own. Our nonfiction section of the library is in dire need of sturdy book bins to help us hold books and keep our library organized. My students will also keep organized by maintaining our school supplies in functioning storage bins with locking tops. Our classroom materials, such as post-its, glue, markers, and pencils will have a place to call home. With these storage bins, it will make it easier for my students to safely gain access to and keep our class organized! My students also need appropriate books that fit their reading needs. My students are moving up levels and are in need of a wider range of books.

Your donation will help our classroom become more organized and efficient.

By maintaining an organized and efficient classroom, our class can be even more productive! With these tools, my students will continue and develop their organizational skills that will propel them in society. My students can grow as autonomous learners and own their learning environment as they will in the future. My students can also benefit from the new and adventurous books that are "just right books".
