This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a 2nd-grade teacher in a high needs, low income, Title I school. Our students are primarily English Language Learners. Our school is 70% ELL and 100% free lunch/breakfast for all students.
I have an incredible group of 26 students who are showing such amazing growth, Each and every one of my students have gained a place in my heart, they're such kindhearted, noble, and passionate individuals.
Every day these students walk into the classroom eager to learn and ready to face any challenge that's put in front of them. These kids spend long hours at school every day and, yet, every single day they're excited to be here and ready to take on whatever is put in front of them. It truly amazes me how determined and dedicated these young minds of theirs are.
My Project
I have asked for a list of different organization tools that will help keep our classroom supplies nice and neat. I am super excited for this upcoming school year. I want to provide my students with tools that will help keep materials like construction paper, writing paper, center activities and etc.
There is nothing better when students are able to go into a shelf and be able to easily find what they are looking for.
Organization is super important when creating a nice learning environment. Students are able to learn and clear ways of storing and finding materials.
