Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Teaching my students to be organized helps make our classroom run efficiently. We need zippered pouches to hold our classroom headphones. The pouches will allow each student to organize their headphones without having cords dangle all over the place.

Alphabet beads and alphabet chips are great for fine motor work and phonics activities.

We use alphabet beads to make name bracelets and build sight words. The alphabet chips are perfect for working on our fine motor skills, letter recognition, and patterning. We also use a lot of magnetic tape in our classroom. This allows students to use the magnetic whiteboard with various items like sentence strips, letters, and numbers.
