Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in a 4th grade, ICT classroom (Integrated Co-Teaching) which is an inclusion room with students with and without disabilities. This year looks a bit different with distance learning and 6 feet of separation throughout the classroom. I'm hoping to do the best by my students by providing them with resources that will support their learning under the given circumstances.

We are a high-needs, Title I school located in a low-income neighborhood.

I am a teacher in a high poverty/low-income school district. My students are faced with challenges in and out of the classroom, especially in relation to what's happening in the world. My goal is to create a caring classroom environment where students receive meaningful and applicable learning experiences every day.

My Project

These materials will make a difference by setting up the classroom in an organized fashion to support student independence. Also, these materials will help by giving the students opportunities to create beautiful art to hang up in the classroom.

Organization helps the classroom run smoothly.

And I always love the start the year off by including art projects for the kids to express themselves. Hoping to get the materials I need to be able to do these! My students will be working in the classroom and I want them to enjoy coming to school by creating an environment that welcomes them.
