Help me give my students the opportunity to learn pickleball this year! Pickleball is gaining in popularity and I would love to teach my students the basics of this fun sport.

My Project

I teach PE for K-6. I want to be able to teach more paddle sport games this year. Pickleball is a fun and fast-growing sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping pong.

Pickleball is an ideal way to get kids active outdoors or in the gym while providing them an excellent opportunity to practice their hand-eye coordination.

I will practice drills like catch and toss using paddle boards, balancing the ball on the boards, serving over the net, rallies, hitting targets, etc. Having Pickleball equipment will help me to achieve these goals in PE this year.
