My Students

My students live in lower socioeconomic neighborhoods that require support and resources for learning. One of the biggest challenges my families face is the ability to provide basic supplies for their children.

We are putting together hands-on learning opportunities for students that otherwise would not have the ability to participate in these experiences.

A large percentage of our students live in multi-family member homes, foster homes, other family members and friends' homes, and hotels/motels. These students and families may not have the financial freedoms to provide extra resources above and beyond what is in the school already. By helping provide items, this will help learning run more smoothly and more fun for the students.

My Project

To have hands-on experiences, we need to be able to provide the classrooms with the correct items for learning. These pens, highlighters, markers, binder clips, and supplies will allow students and teachers to have the opportunities to own the correct supplies to have hands on learning.

These supplies will show students how to be and stay organized for success in the classroom.

We will pair the supplies with hands-on experiences and opportunities for learning. Students will take this learning of organization into their future school routine, home routine, and life skills.
