This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Currently there is no String Orchestra Program. There are many students asking for this program and I believe that it will help students get the music education experience that they want in high school. Who knows where this can lead them and the school in the future? All students here are hard working students who strive to be the best and this addition to my music program will be great not only for the school, but for the community as a whole. Fifty one percent of the school population are Hispanic, 48% of the population is African American, and 1% of the school population is considered other.

My Project

This project will prove all the materials needed for the Music Students to create an orchestra at the school. There are many students who play string instruments, but have no access to the equipment they need to make music.

These new instruments will be the backbone of the orchestra that we are trying to create in the school.

The school is constantly surviving the budget cut crisis and the first classes to be affected are the arts. This will alleviate some of the effects of not being able to provide for the students at the school. I am excited for a future orchestra in this school and only you can make this happen.
