My Project

I have several students who love to mouth items in the classroom and have poor hand strength.

The oral motor toys provide sensory input through oral motor sensations.

This increases their chances of becoming sick or causing others to get sick. Providing these students with the appropriate oral motor devices will enhance their ability to focus on learning instead of their need for their sensory input to help regulate them.

Hand strengthen is a vital part of our education system. It assists with fine motor tasks that are apart of our every day learning. So many children with disabilities struggle in this area. These tools will be used to build up that strength and assist with exploring and learning through their hands.
