My Project

Our elementary school is a GREAT place to grow! We are excited to be experiencing a large influx of English Language Learners from grades K through 5. New students have arrived from South America, Central America and the Caribbean Islands. They are excited and ready to learn!! To provide them with multiple ways for acquiring English, they need to use tablets for building digital fluency, to complete independent classwork and homework, research, and more. Their language skills will skyrocket!

English Language Learners benefit quickly and effectively with tablets.

Tablets help create an engaging learning environment that’s productive for all different levels of English learners. Learning and mastering a new language takes a lot of repetition which can be provided with tablets. Technology provides opportunities for learners to practice what they’ve learned in the classroom through translation, repetition, videos, shows, clips, and face-to-face apps. Tablets can assist to explain difficult concepts in easier-to-understand ways with visual and audio resources. The possibilities are truly endless!!!
