I teach secondary math to high school students. Many of my students struggle in math and I love finding new ways to help make math more understandable and relatable for them. My students benefit from in-person instruction where they can interact with each other to work through projects and activities together as well as ask questions and receive real-time support when they need it most.
My Project
Many students struggled to learn math during the soft closure of the school at the beginning of the pandemic. Students are missing concepts that support the new material covered in my classes. The missing skills can be easily addressed in my classroom.
Many students are missing foundational concepts that can easily be taught in a one-on-one scenario during math class.
As the student is working on the lesson, I can be more mobile through the classroom to address individual needs as they occur as well as access materials quickly that will benefit their learning.
