My Students

I teach 4 and 5 year olds. There are two girls and six boys. One girl is 5 and the other is 4 years old. Two boys are 5 years old and four are 4 years old.

They are all African American and receive free lunch.

My Project

These materials will help students take responsibility in the cleanliness of the classroom. It will also foster a sense of family and belonging as we each take part of being clean and safe in the classroom. The swiffer mop is easy to use and the children will take turns cleaning their spills after breakfast and snacks.

We have been studying about being caring to each other and taking care of our belongings.

This a great way for us to physically show how we care about keeping our surroundings clean and safe.
