Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want to start an after-school program to give my students the opportunity to create art projects, use their imagination, and be inspired to be creative through Arts and Crafts activities while spending time productively and opening spaces to socialize and grow after their school day.

My students will access materials and resources to build and design works while developing their artistic skills in an After-school Club.

We will do this by using multiple kinds of resources and materials such as modeling clay, glass, paper, etc. hoping my students love arts even more.

I believe that Art is an amazing way that my students can express themselves freely and feel successful and safe. I also believe that my students deserve to have more spaces to explore and open their artistic minds and discover a world of opportunities.
