My Project

To promote language acquisition and literacy development among my diverse student population, I need a collection of high-quality bilingual books to create a supportive and engaging learning environment that represents my students' culture as well as their unique and individual linguistic needs. These books will be invaluable tools for developing reading, writing, and speaking skills in both English and their native languages.

My goal is to improve my students' literacy skills by exposing them to a wide range of texts in their native languages and English.

These books will be used to enhance language acquisition, develop literacy skills, build cultural competence, and increase student engagement.

My sweet ELL students are such amazing little people! They bring so much color and joy to our classroom with their different cultures and languages. Many of them are still learning English at home, and it can be tricky sometimes, but we’re all working together to help them learn. By giving them books in their own language and in English, we can help them feel more comfortable and confident. These books will help them fall in love with reading and help them do well in school.
