My Students

My class is a special education class and it contains 12 children with different special needs. My class contains autistic students and students with learning disabilities.Most of my children are non-verbal. Each student has an individual needs. They are very smart and learn if they are provided with the instructions which meet their needs. They eager to learn and ready to participate in the activities which is planned based on their interest and needs. Daily, I am focusing on their learning not only the academic skills but knowledge about the world, social emotional learning , adaptive skills and language and literacy skills to help them to better survive.

My Project

These Amazon Fire tablets will definitely make a difference for my students by providing them the opportunity to learn and understand how to use the technology and take advantage to expand their knowledge as well as to better understand the world. These materials could help my students to get along in the classroom, participate in the activities, understand the unit of study, and to develop the social emotional behavior in themselves. My students could have the access to these resources in the classroom which might be possible they do not have at home. This project could help my students to manage their feelings and to understand and express their wants and needs. Thank you!
