My Project

Making a calm and educational learning environment is essential not only for academic success but also mental health. The last thing individuals want when they are having a rough day is to be in a room that is glaring and jarring. High school students have so much on their mind to begin with. Continual walking into the rooms with bright lights does not invite calm demeanor. I am looking to make my classroom more inviting and peaceful. This will benefit the entire classroom as a whole.

Fluorescent lights while being cheap and easy for institutions are harsh for the people that need to use them every day.

Light covers will add a layer of softness to the light source in the classroom. This will decrease the stress level in the room and increase student's ability to focus and learn.
