Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am an 8th grade ELA teacher in an inner-city school. My classes read daily and I strive to promote literacy and a love of reading and learning. I would like to reward my students for achieving and exceeding their reading goals with prizes like candy, pencils, erasers, and stickers. I would also like to add books to my classroom library that my students find interesting and engaging.

By supporting this project, you will help me celebrate and acknowledge my students who have committed to becoming stronger readers.

I strive to show my students how reading can open their minds to the world around them and so much more. Please help me promote a love of reading and learning for our next generation!
