This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

While it can get messy, I always prefer liquid glue rather than boring old glue sticks. To my students liquid glue is only used to make slime, but we can get so much more creative in the classroom!

From interactive notebooks to holiday crafts I use liquid glue constantly in the classroom.

While the glue does hold so much better than glue sticks, sometimes our projects can turn into soggy messes. The book "Too Much Glue" by Jason Lefebvre is a humorous way to introduce students to the art of minimalism (or the dangers of maximalism) when it comes to using liquid glue.
